About Our Practice

Candice Halstead Optometrists is an independent privately owned practice that has been helping patients see the wonders of their world since 2009. Candice qualified as an optometrist at RAU in 1999 and has not only worked as an optometry practitioner but has also had experience in the corporate side of optometry and ophthalmology. In these roles training of other optometrists was provided with lens fittings as well as information on pharmaceutical products for the eye.
Candice has a keen interest in children’s vision and has furthered her studies in this regard to be an Irlen Screener with the Irlen Institute (USA). Candice enjoys working with people of all ages in her practice and thrives on the personal touch that she offers.
